Learning Color Theory From Nature

Nature is effortlessly beautiful.

There is never a misplaced cherry blossom, yet nothing appears contrived.

A sunset can hint at every color in the visible spectrum and remain balanced and harmonious.

Nature stops acting when necessary.

A colossal redwood tree has a trunk of burgundy, rust, almond, pecan. It’s leaves are an appropriately placed garnish for this visual banquet.

How hypnotic are the spots of a jaguar.

Nature constantly entertains our eyes.

Walk through a winter morning’s fog. See the jewel colored pine needles gleam behind the grey mist.

Notice the little hummingbird. His dazzling feathers inspire kingly robes of yesterday.

Nature has given an artist the complete palette.
